How to Fish has no promo codes — it's a paid Steam game. What you actually need are the controls that drive the fish-fight-sell loop. Here's the reference for the released version.

Tip: The Space jump is your strongest defense — most fish and bosses telegraph their attack with a wind-up, so time your jump to dodge.

Master the core loop
Cast (left click) to hook a creature, then finish it with your current weapon.
Open inventory with Tab
Equip weapons, eat food to heal, check quest objectives.
Jump with Space to dodge
Most fish and bosses wind up before attacking — jumping is your main defense.
Reload with R in time
Running dry against a pufferfish or whale is genuinely dangerous.
